The Role of An Ambassador
The University of West Alabama
Ambassadors are the official student representatives for
UWA. Their purpose is to promote and serve UWA.
Ambassadors serve as student hosts and hostesses at a
variety of University and community events. The Ambassadors
provide tours for prospective students, families, and other
distinguished University guests. Their main objective is to
assist the Office of Admissions in recruiting prospective
students.
- The Ambassadors give
CAMPUS TOURS from the Admissions
Office in Webb Hall.
- The Ambassadors assist the
Admissions Office by attending college fairs with an Admissions
Counselor throughout Alabama and Mississippi.
- The Ambassadors keep in
touch
with all prospective students who have applied for admission in
their senior year.... by way of telephone or e-mail.
- The Ambassadors
represent the
Admissions Office at many local community events and Preview Days.
