The Department of Teacher Education offers graduate programs in counseling/psychology, school counseling, continuing education, and library media. In addition, the department provides the educational core courses for all educational programs at UWA. In cooperation with other departments on campus, the department offers programs leading to Class B and Class A certification in the areas of Biology, General Science, Mathematics, English Language Arts, History, and Social Science. Programs in School Counseling and Library Media lead to Class A certification.
